Rating is a symbolic indicator of the commitment and capacity of a business (Companies; Organizations; Merchants; and Service Providers) to provide total customer satisfaction and to work with highest ethical standards when working with partners (Supplier; Vendors; Distributors; Government Agencies; etc.).
Following is the list of possible ratings:
AAA+: Indicates exceptional business practices. So, for customers it would mean that you would be treated in most professional way and company will take every means possible to resolve customer related issues. For partners it would mean that you would be treated in ethical manner, with all commitments duly fulfilled as promised and the company going above and beyond its commitment in making sure that partners are happy. Dealing with AAA+ rated businesses would certainly bring peace of mind and assurance that you are dealing with one of the best companies.
AAA: Indicates very good business practice. So, for customers it would mean that you would be treated in most professional way and company is committed to get customers related issues resolved as soon as possible. For partners it would mean that you would be treated in ethical manner, with all commitments duly fulfilled as promised. AAA companies may not be providing cheaper product or services, but will definitely provide great value for money.
(Both AAA and AAA+ ratings are equally good and you would want to deal with such companies, only difference one would find between AAA+ and AAA is that AAA+ companies would go overboard to make sure customers and partners more than happy by delivering more than promised.)
BBB: Indicates fair business practice. Commitment and capacity of BBB companies are same as that of AAA companies, only reason of getting lower notch rating is that processes of such companies may not be streamlined in best possible ways. So, customers/partners may sometime face delays due to process related issues, but its highly unlikely that issues will go un-addressed or take longer than the committed time-frame.
CCC: Indicates that there is not enough information available about the business to be assigned any better ratings. Customers/partners need to be very cautious when dealing with such companies. So, for customers it would mean to read fine prints about order cancellation policies; advance payments; product return policies; warranty/guarantees. For partners it would mean to iron clad agreements/contracts.
Usually companies do not stay at this rating for long, as they either get promoted to BBB or downgraded to DDD. People should be cautious when dealing with companies with CCC rating for long time.
DDD: Indicates business has dubious past and has not kept its promises with customers and/or partners. Business Trusted strongly recommend not to deal with companies with DDD ratings, specially on credit basis.
Ratings are broadly based on the following criteria:
1. Customer Service
2. Partner (Suppliers; Vendors; Distributors; etc.) relationship
3. Employee policies
4. Transparency – Company; Products; Services; Management; Employees details
5. Ethical Advertisements
6. Management background and experience
7. Capacity – Finance and people resources
